Disposal of Electrical Equipment and Batteries
This page provides information on the correct disposal and recycling of electrical and electronic equipment and batteries in accordance with applicable legislation in the United Kingdom. Ezee complies with the UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations and the Batteries Regulations. We participate in approved compliance schemes to ensure the responsible collection, treatment and recycling of waste electrical equipment and batteries.
Information on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
Electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste. Products covered by the WEEE Regulations are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Waste electrical equipment contains valuable materials that can be recovered and recycled. It may also contain substances that could be harmful to the environment if not handled correctly. Separate collection and proper treatment are therefore required.

Returning Waste Equipment
We accept waste equipment originally purchased from Ezee for environmentally responsible disposal.
The return service applies only to:
- products originally purchased from Ezee;
- products falling within the scope of the applicable WEEE Regulations.
Products from other manufacturers or products not purchased from Ezee are not accepted.
Cost of Return
The acceptance and environmentally responsible treatment of your waste equipment is free of charge. If you choose to return equipment by post, you are responsible for the shipping costs. We do not offer free postal returns. Please contact our customer service team before returning any equipment so that we can provide instructions for the return process.
Alternative Disposal Options
Waste electrical equipment may also be taken to:
- Local Authority Recycling Centres;
- designated WEEE collection points;
- retailers offering WEEE take-back services in accordance with applicable regulations.
Information on local collection facilities is available from your local authority.
Batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.Where possible, batteries should be removed from equipment before disposal and recycled separately through an appropriate battery collection scheme. Further information can be found on our Battery Recycling page.
Data Protection
End users are responsible for removing any personal data stored on equipment before disposal.
Disposal of Our Products
Devices (Ezee, Ezee Next)
These products contain electronic components and batteries and fall within the scope of the UK WEEE Regulations. They must not be disposed of with household waste and should be taken to an appropriate WEEE collection point.
Pods and Cartridges
Pods and cartridges do not contain batteries or electronic components. As they consist of multiple materials that cannot be separated by consumers, they should be disposed of as residual waste or in accordance with local waste management requirements.
Producer Registrations
Ezee is registered in accordance with applicable UK producer responsibility requirements.
- WEEE Registration Number: WEE/BU5924XD
- Battery Producer Registration Number (BPRN): BPRN10496
Why Recycling Matters
Vapes contain lithium batteries and electronic components that require appropriate treatment at the end of their life. Improper disposal may:
- cause fires in waste collection vehicles or treatment facilities;
- release harmful substances into the environment;
- waste valuable materials such as lithium, aluminium and copper.
Correct recycling helps ensure that these materials are recovered and treated safely.
Important
- Do not dispose of vapes in household waste or standard recycling bins.
- If the battery can be removed, take it out and recycle it through a battery collection point.
- If the battery cannot be removed, dispose of the entire device through a WEEE collection scheme.
